To run Startnik we use the companies below. Each one receives only the data it needs for its task and is bound by a contract that protects it. We tell members by email at least 30 days before we add or replace one (see the Data processing agreement).
| Company | What it does for us | Data it handles | Where |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hostinger (Hostinger International Ltd. and its affiliates) | Hosting of the website and the database, backups, sending of email | All data stored in the service | France (European Union) |
| Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. | Taking payments for paid plans | Your email, plan, payment details (card data goes directly to Stripe and never reaches us) | Ireland; Stripe also processes data in the United States |
| Anthropic | Writing with an AI model: launch plans, name ideas, pages, launch kits, posts, and the answers of the question box | What you told us about your side hustle, including your first name if you gave it; a question typed into the question box. Requests people send you are not sent. | United States |
| VeriSign, Inc. (the .com registry) | Answering whether a .com address is still free | Only the address asked about (for example “annascakes.com”), which may contain a first name you chose to put in a name | United States |
Not subprocessors
When you share a post, you do so yourself, from your own social media account. When someone pays you through your own payment link, they deal with that payment company directly. We pass no personal data to these companies.
